Modeling the Behavior of an Element
To model the behavior of an element:
- Identify the actors that interact with the element. These include groups that requires a certain behavior to execute their tasks or that are needed directly or indirectly to perform the element's functions
- Classify actors by recognizing general and more specific roles
- For each and every actor, examine the primary ways the actor interacts with the element
- Also take in aspect, the exceptional ways in which the actor interacts with the system
- Classify these behaviors as use cases by applying include and extend
